Advanced Open Water Diver
Complete four specialities with our PADI or SSI Advanced program and earn the distinction of becoming an advanced diver. Some pool and Theory may be required.
The Advanced Course is 5 dives in the sea, 4 theory lessons and takes 4 days to be done.
Diving The Crab was established in 1985 when the first school was opened at Jadini Beach Hotel. Since then we have concentrated all our efforts in providing a professional and dedicated service to our clients. As a result our reputation is known worldwide.We are extremely privileged to be operating on Kenya's south coast, where the Idyllic Indian Ocean provides warm hospitable waters, teeming with marine life. Often on our way to dive sites the boat will slow down to play with a school of friendly dolphins or the gentlest of giants, the whale shark.

Southern Palms:
Southern Palms Hotel dive base is situated on the grounds of the Hotel right on the beach. We have a PADI Instructor and 5 staff manning this base, equipment store room and classroom with blackboard, DVD player and TV.
Leopard Beach Hotel:
The diving school at Leopard Beach hotel is another well designed and maintained dive school, situated next to the pizzeria and overlooking the beach. Walk down the steps from the swimming pool and we are on the left. Spacious interior, solid timbers décor with 2 x instructor and 4 staff assisting.
Leisure Lodge:
Leisure Lodge Diving school has a beautiful interior designed by Mario and Ralph, with lots of input from Daniel. This base is also on the beach of Leisure Lodge Hotel set into a coral cave with lighting in the natural recesses, with the usual high quality timber work we have come to expect from Mario.
Jadini Beach Hotel:
Jadini base is our oldest diving school with a long history behind it, and still now it is our main base and the meeting point from which our dive boats depart. Jadini base is blessed with a particularly wide stretch of beautiful coral beach making it convenient for loading and offloading.
Safari Beach Hotel:
Safari Beach hotel diving school is also one of our oldest bases and has a long history. We have a PADI and an SSI Instructor based in Safari being assisted by 3 additional well qualified staff. Safari base also caters for the Ocean Village hotel next door.
Baobab Resort:
Baobab Hotel Diving school is situated at the far left of the hotel premises near the volleyball court, a small walk from the swimming pool. Baobab has just opened the Kole Kole Boutique resort and this will be serviced by our Baobab Dive school staff - 2 instructors speaking German, Italian and English, with help from 3 other staff. |
