Here is what a typical week might look like. Everything is flexible around here though - so no worries if you want to chagne things a bit!
Day 1: arrive Sharm El Sheikh airport, transfer Dahab, check in to hotel & enjoy your first night!
Days 2-4: 2 dives a day. Some times you'll stay out for the full day, relaxing in the Bedouin beach-side cafes for lunch inbetween dives. Other times you'll come back to Masbat in between dives - lots of restaurants to choose from, boutique shops to browse, or just chill out on the sunbeds by the beach.
Days 5-6: Overnight Camel Diving Safari: this could be to Ras Abu Galoum & A'Maied in the north, or to Gabr El Bint in the south. Both are beautiful places to dive, far from the crowds. Our first stay starts early (about 6:30am). We travel by jeep for the first half hour, then it's time to meet our camels! Stop for breakfast while our tanks and equipment are loaded onto the camels, then it's your turn! A quick lesson in camel driving & you're off for a beautiful morning's camel trek along the beach. After an hour, our destination comes into view. Unload the camels, chill out with some of the sweet Bedouin tea, then it's time for the first dive. The coral and aquatic life in these areas are stunning. 2 dives and lunch, with lots of relaxing on the beach inbetween. Often we move to a different area for dinner & a gorgeous night under the stars.
Our 2nd day starts with the sun - an early morning swim, and maybe an early morning dive, then breakfast. Time to explore the mountains in the back before lunch and a 2nd dive. As the sun starts to drop behind the mountains, we load everything back onto the camels again for the journey home. 2 days, 4 dives & one amazing night.
Day 7: relax / get in your no-fly time
Day 8: transfer to Sharm airport & head home - hopefully planning your next big adventure in the Sinai :-)
