Now known as the Emergency First Response (EFR) course, this is a medically based assistance course designed to train students, at layman's level, the same emergency procedures and priorities used by paramedics and doctors.
EFR (Emergency First Response) or a similar First Aid certification are prerequisite for Rescue Diver training. This is a 1 day first aid course that dives you the knowledge and confidence to respond to medical emergencies -- not just in the diving world, but in your every day world with your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues.
