Overview

If you are going to scuba dive in the Riviera Maya in the beautiful Caribbean reefs, you should consider staying in Playa Del Carmen. It's only a 35 minute ferry ride from Cozumel and just within 40 minutes from Cancun. Diving in Playa Del Carmen has on the one hand the second largest barrier reef in the world, and on the other hand a fantastic world of cavern diving in the mystic and holy Mayan waters ... diving in Cenotes.

Riviera Maya

Once a sleepy fishing village, Playa del Carmen has become a getaway to this Riviera Maya experience. The Reef Playacar

Lush gardens and wooden walkways provide a tropical canopy and a jungle like atmosphere for the 18 villas which make up the 200+ room resort. You can spend your vacation participating in one of the many activities available or just sit back and relax in the moment. Enjoy incredible Caribbean diving through the on-site dive shop, Reef Marina which offers a variety of services to suit every level of diver and their specific tastes. There are a variety of food and beverage outlets including two a la carte restaurants, one buffet, a swim up bar, lobby bar, beach bar, ice cream parlour and a snack bar to serve you.
