Our mission at Castaway Divers is to train divers to be proficient and responsible. We offer courses from 2 of the worlds leading diver training organisations, SDI and PADI. Both of which offer excellent training.
SDI was founded 10 years ago with a modern approach to diving which includes using dive computers in its diver training. The emphasis is more on training in the water so you spend less of your holiday in the classroom. We are a registered SDI facility which means you can study your SDI theory and tests on-line before you come.
PADI was the first to offer recreational diving courses. Today it is renowned worldwide as a great diving qualification. The PADI courses have a greater emphasis on classroom work and an open diver course typically requires about 5 hours of studying.
SDI and PADI certificates are fully compatible with each other; both organisations recognise the others courses and you can mix and match both as you advance your diver training.
