The local area offers various places of interest that can be visited by Camel or Jeep. Dahab still holds its own atmosphere and character that is unique. You will experience while walking along the beach front, lined with coffee houses and bazaars, the radiant colour, jumble, noise and aroma, all that makes up Dahab.
All along the Sinai coast stretches a wide barrier reef. It made Dahab popular for its shore-diving. Most of the dive-sites along the coast can be reached by Jeep. Some of them are only accessible by camel. The drive through the picturesque Sinai Mountains is an experience for itself. The house reef in the lagoon is right in front of the diving centre. A few coral blocks are scattered within a large sea grass bed. Do not expect large schools of fish. This is the home of small marine life like seahorses, nudi branches, carpet anemones etc.

Sinia Divers are a long standing 5* PADI dive centre with an outstanding record for excellent service. There branch in Dahab is based at the Hilton Hotel on the Lagoon, the best hotel in Dahab. The diving-school program ranges from Bubblemaker to Instructor Training and offers regular TEC diving courses from basic Nitrox up to Extended Range. Beginner course are held in air conditioned class rooms and then the confined water training starts either in the fresh-water pool or in the lagoon in front of the centre.
The diving day with 2- 3 dives starts at 9am and ends at a around 5pm. Depending on the dive-site lunch is taken either at the Hotel or in one of the coffee-shops the beach. Night dives, exciting drift-dives or day excursions by jeep and camel extend the program. Two-day camel-safaris, trips to Ras Mohamed, the Straits of Tiran and the wreck of the Thistlegorm can be organized on request. |

The hotel is situated in the main bay of Dahab, one of the most spectacular sites in the world, hence it Arabic name “Gold". The scenery as viewed from the hotel is breathtaking and includes a beautiful lagoon with the mountains of Sinai and Saudi Arabia in the back ground. DAHAB HILTON RESORT:
This hotel is built in the style of a Nubian village with gardens and small lagoons, the Hilton has its own private sandy beach. Just a short stroll down the beach from the Ganet Sinai, it gives the additional luxury of an international 5 star hotel. The rooms are in single-story or two-story buildings, with bath/WC, hair dryer, phone, satellite TV, minibar, air-conditioning, balcony or terrace, and are very elegantly appointed.
This new, bungalow-style complex consists of 163 units and is set in a 10,000 sq m garden, laid out with salt-water pools. There is also a large fresh-water pool with terrace, paddling pool and pool snackbar. Sun loungers, sun-shades and towels are available at the beach and pool free of charge. There are 3 restaurants, bar, roof-terrace bar, disco and beach bar. Sporting facilities and activities such as scuba diving, water-skiing, kayaks, bikes, tennis, table tennis, darts and billiards, will ensure that you are never bored. Child-minding services are also available.

This hotel is located on a wide sandy beach with fabulous views of the bay and the Sinai mountains. From the spacious lobby, past the large pool to the rooms facing the sea or the Sinai mountains, it has an upmarket, though personal and relaxing feel. There is a main dining room serving buffet meals, and pool bar and beach bar serve snacks and drinks throughout the day. The freshwater swimming pool is heated in the winter
