If you are going to dive do it in style in one of our guided dives from one of our 50th Dhoni dive boats, while your partner has the Luxury of our mini cruise ship and lunch on a Desert Island with likeminded none divers.

Dive Times:
Some Safari and Cruise boats in the Maldives only offer diving trips to a strict schedule, meaning guests have to choose between a full day’s diving - often from early morning until late at night, or no diving at all that day. On the Yasawa Princess we believe it should be you that chooses what to do from the list of services we offer. If you want to dive, you pick when and where from our list. If you want to snorkel you pick the time from our schedule. Alternatively you might just want to select your very own desert island discs on your iPod, stretch out on the beach and just relax in the sunshine on one of the many islands we visit!

Itinerary & Highlights

Two separate 7 days cruises are available on the ship. Cruise 1 takes in the Islands to the north the Male. Cruise 2 takes in the islands to the south of Male.

So you can take a 7 day cruise visiting different islands on each cruise. You can join the ship on a Sunday to Sunday basis or Monday to Monday, the only difference to the itinerary is that the Sunday to Sunday customers will visit Male on a Monday Morning while the Monday to Monday customers will visit Male on the Sunday afternoon. All transfer times from the airport to the ship will be less than 1 hour by boat.

Northern Cruise

Day 1 Arrive Male Airport and transfer to the Yasawa Princess, your cruising home for the next 7 days.

Day 2 Snorkelling, swimming and sunbathing at Kuda Bandos. Evening underwater marine slide show followed by bridge and card games. There will be a check dive in the morning plus an afternoon dive for Scuba Divers. Late afternoon cruise to Giraavaru.

Day 3 Early in the morning cruise to Velidhu. Visit the island for swimming and sunbathing. Bar and Spa facilities are available on the island. For divers there is 1 local dive in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. Night Fishing trip. Evening competition for the best photograph of the day above and underwater.

Day 4 Sail to the desert island Meerufen Fushi. Spend the day snorkeling, sunbathing or watching the fish from the glass bottomed boat. Divers will have 2 dives.

Day 5 Cruise to Sand Bank for swimming and sunbathing. In the afternoon take a visit to local island Hagnameedhoo for sightseeing and shopping. Both morning and afternoon dives for divers. Night Fishing trip. Captain’s dinner in the evening.

Day 6 Visit to the picnic island of Dhiggiri. Spend the day snorkeling, sunbathing or watching the fish from the glass bottomed boat. Picnic lunch and evening BBQ. Divers will have 2 dives.

Day 7 Return to Male’ for shopping and sightseeing. Slide show of the best photographs of the week.

Southern Cruise

Day 1 Arrive Male and transfer to the Yasawa Princess. Late afternoon cruise to Maniyafushi.

Day 2 Snorkeling, swimming and sunbathing at the Sandbank near Maniyafushi. In the afternoon cruise to local island Maafushi for shopping and sightseeing. Evening underwater marine slide show followed by bridge and card games. There will be a check dive in the morning plus an afternoon dive for Scuba Divers.

Day 3 Sail to the desert island Maadhoo Finolhu. Spend the day snorkeling, sunbathing or watching the fish from the glass bottomed boat. Night Fishing. Divers will have 2 dives

Day 4 Cruise to the Sand Bank for swimming and sunbathing. In the afternoon take visit to local island Mahibadhoo for sightseeing and shopping. Divers will have 2 dives.

Day 5 Visit to the picnic island of Rah Dhigga. Swimming and sunbathing morning and afternoon. Evening BBQ. Both am and pm diving for divers.

Day 6 Cruise to desert island Theluveligaa for swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing. Glassed bottom boat rides in the afternoon to see fish and corals. Picnic lunch and Captains dinner. 2 morning dives for divers. Night Fishing trip.

Day 7 Return to Male’ for shopping and sightseeing. Slide show of the best photographs of the week.

Accommodation & Centre Details

Accommodation onboard is in cabins with double or twin beds
with en suite shower rooms incorporating a basin and toilet.

All cabins are suitable for single or double occupancy.

All staterooms and cabins are equipped with air conditioning plus 240-volt power outlets. A flat pin converter plug will be required. Personal safes are provided in all cabins.

The ship operates with no more than 66 guests at any one time, providing for a very intimate and yet relaxed and informal atmosphere on board. There is no dressing up for smart dinners or formal entertainment in the evening.

We aim to provide a desert island paradise escape from the daily routine. Dress code is shorts and swimwear during the day and casual dress in the evenings both on board and on the deserted islands, where clear white sand makes shoes
