Want to experience the mystery of Africa, her diverse cultures and her majestic wildlife whilst also having the opportunity to undertake a multitude of activities during your travels? We would like to introduce you to Absolute Africa, a budget overland company which specialises solely in Africa, and has been involved in overland travel within Africa for 30 years.

In 1979 we first crossed the Sahara Desert in a London taxi travelling from Britain to Kenya. We have retained the core idea of enabling overlanding passengers to experience the African at affordable prices, however the routes we travel and the vehicles we used have evolved over time. Today we offer safaris within East and Southern Africa, varying from short 4 day trips incorporating unique experiences like trekking to see the endangered Mountain Gorilla, or longer "traditional overland" trips of up to 10 weeks that offer a vast diversity of cultural experiences, a multitude of adventure activities and outstanding wildlife viewing opportunities. Our safari vehicles are custom-built fully equipped overland trucks.

All are safaris work on the ethos that everyone on the overland truck mucks in together and gets involved in the day to day routines of truck life. Whether you assist with carrying water, cooking or cleaning, the sense of camaraderie that develops as a result of this teamwork is often spoken of as one of the unexpected but lasting memories clients have of their travels with Absolute Africa.
