Scuba Diving can be your ticket to a new world - the feeling of weightlessness, the colours and the shapes make diving the worlds oceans and coral reefs a truly magical experience that you can continue and progress with your whole life. Discovering what it is like to breathe air underwater and experience the underwater world has never been easier!

Our Discover Scuba Diving course is a simple, pool based introduction to scuba diving that is available at centres around the country, one of these sessions and you just might get the bug!

Itinerary / Highlights

All of our centres are PADI centres - PADI is the world's largest and most recognised diver training organisation, ensuring that you are being trained and supervised by professionals.

Upon arrival you will be met by your instructor who will give you a full brief on what is involved with Discover Scuba Diving and introduce you to the scuba diving equipment - regulators, B.C.D.'s - you'll know and understand what's what by the end of your Discover Scuba experience.

Discover Scuba will provide you with the practical skills to allow you to enjoy your first dive in a swimming pool and by the end of it you may well decide to pursue Scuba Diving and move on to the PADI Open Water Course to become a qualified diver!

Restrictions:
Minimum age is 10.
Anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can take part in Discover Scuba.

You will be required complete a medical questionnaire upon arrival, if you answer yes to any questions on the Medical form you must see a doctor prior to starting the course.

Duration:
Your Discover Scuba experience will last around 1.5 - 2 hours and you can expect to spend around an hour in the water.

What to Wear / Equipment:
All equipment is provided by the centre, you will need to bring along your swim suit and towel.

Group Size / Spectators:
There will be a maximum of eight students per instructor. Spectators are welcome at most centres, please check with the centre before booking.

Weather:
Discover Scuba is pool based and is not weather dependent.

Availability:
Discover Scuba is available at all our centres on a weekly or bi-weekly basis all year round.
