With more than 20 top class dive sites dotted around this beautiful, palm fringed island, every day you're sure to find something new to explore.

Just a few days of diving at this tremendous site elevates your qualifications to that of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, and there is time for plenty of extra diving as well.

Itinerary / Highlights

Day 1
Upon arrival in Bangkok we offer an optional transfer to your Hotel, or you're more than welcome to make your own way to your Hotel & The remainder of today is free for you to begin exploring Bangkok.

Day 2
Our Rep will meet you today and outline the schedule for the next few days. Today we will include tours to visit the amazing Grand Palace Complex and the Royal Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The remainder of the afternoon is free for some more exploration before taking the Overnight train to Chumporn.

Day 3
After arriving into Chumporn we transfer you to the ferry port for your ferry to Ko Tao. Upon arrival into Ko Tao you will check into your Hotel, the remainder of the morning is free for you to relax. This afternoon you can meet with the Dive Centre to finalize your diving arrangements for the next few days.

Days 4-6
We start your course today and your logbook and card will be checked. This course is only available to certified Open Water Divers. The course will consist of Classroom sessions and Open Water Dives ( 3 compulsory core dives, plus 2 optional Adventure Dives).
Your Core Dives will include a Deep Dive and a Navigation Dive. You can select your optional dives from the following:
- Drift Dive
- Multilevel Dive
- Underwater Naturalist
- Photography
- Night Dive

Day 7
We leave today for you to relax. You can relax in the Hotel or maybe pre book some optional Dives & some of the Best Local Dive sites are listed below:

- Chumphon Pinnacle & Approx 10km offshore. This Granite plateau begins at depths of 12m with walls dropping to 32m. Here you can see Big Groupers, Barracuda, Travellis, Tuna, Batfish and the occasional reef and whale sharks.
- South West Pinnacle & 10 km South of Ko Tao. Here you have the opportunity to encounter Big Pelagic fish aswell as Leopard Sharks.
- Shark Island & This small Island has an abundance of Marine Life including Reef Fish, Turtles, Rays and much more. Depths reach approximately 22m here.
- White Rock & Here you will see 2 underwater rock formations with hard and soft corals, the dive is very colourful and ideal for underwater Photography.
- Green Rock & The Green Rock is an underwater assembly of rocks with Swims through tunnels and small caves. Reef Sharks are frequently spotted at the deepest parts.

Day 8
This morning is free for you to relax before taking the ferry back to Chumporn, here you will have a little free time to explore the town before taking the overnight sleeper train back to Bangkok.

Day 9
Upon arrival into Bangkok, we will transfer you to your hotel where the remainder of the day is free for you to explore Bangkok a little further or maybe take one of our optional tours.

Day 10
You tour ends today after Breakfast. We offer optional transfers back to Bangkok Airport.

Accommodation Details

Our Standard level scuba-diving tours use good quality hotels at approx. 3-star level, in which all rooms have air-conditioning and
en-suite bathrooms.

Note:For our group departures, we will advise you of the hotel to be used on the tour about 2 weeks before departure. If you have
specific requirements for hotels, then please request a private or tailor-made tour.

Hotels used on this tour (subject to availability):
Bangkok (3-star):
• Narai Hotel, Royal Benja Hotel.

Ko Tao (2 to 3-star):
• Ko Tao Resort (standard a/c).

At certain times of the year or where circumstances dictate we may need to use different hotels from those listed above. In this event
alternative accommodation will always be of a similar standard.
