PADI Boat diver course

Time to go diving from boats!

Whether you've never made a boat dive or you've logged dozens, the PADI Boat Diver Speciality course can benefit almost every diver because different boats in different parts of the world do things differently.

What You Learn:

Learn the tips, tricks and ways to:

•Dive from boats ranging from small inflatables to giant live-aboards :
â—¦how they differ from place to place
â—¦gain experience and training from diving on boats in your local area

•Safely enter and exit the water :
â—¦sometimes it's better to hand your gear up to the crew and then climb in the boat
â—¦sometimes you just take off your fins and weights and walk up the ladder

•Stow your gear in the most appropriate areas

•Use surface lines to initiate or conclude your dives

•Locate basic boat safety equipment

The Scuba Gear You Use:

You use all the basic scuba gear. Depending on what type of diving you'll be doing from the boat, you may also want to use underwater photography equipment, DPVs (underwater scooters), a dive light, a dry suit, lift bags, a dive flag/float or other speciality gear.

In Lanzarote, you can dive all year round - from getting up close and personal with Angel Sharks, to seeing the magnificent topography of the underwater world.

Perched on the seabed, you will encounter not only beautiful sea life - such as seahorses and manta ray - but also historic wrecks.

The real beauty here is that it truly doesn't matter what level of diver you are, or are training to be - the dives in Lanzarote are vibrant with life for every ability, at every depth. PADI or BSAC, our friendly dive centre has it covered.

You'll be staying in Costa Teguise where nothing is more than a 5 minute walk away so, if you're exhausted from all the excitement or swaying after a few drinks, you'll be back in the comfort of your room (or the next bar) in no time.

Flights are not included in this package, however Freedom Adventures holds a full ATOL licence and we are able to add flights to your package should you require them.

Itinerary / Highlights

This course is quite flexible and you have a total of two dives. You have seven nights so you can choose when you want to do your dives!

Accommodation Details

Our charming apartments are separated around three cool swimming pools. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with real character, each with its own kitchenette and living area.

After an exciting day of diving, relax by the pool with a drink from the bar or just kick back on your own balcony.

All the apartments are self-catering but, if you don´t fancy cooking, then get out into one of the many local restaurants for great food at great prices.

The accommodation is right by our dive school and is in close proximity to all the local bars, restaurants and shops, great if you want to grab a drink after an exciting days diving!
