Jordan is blessed with outstanding natural beauty, and an abundance of historical and archaeological sites. From the superb Roman site at Jerash to the stunning rose red city of Petra; from the dramatic scenery of T. E. Lawrence's Wadi Rum to the spectacular coral reefs of Aqaba - the treasures of Jordan are many. All the dive sites in Jordan are located very close to the shore line so both boat and shore diving access the same sites, it is just a matter of which mode of transport is preferred. The diving along this coast line is very good relative to other diving in the Northern Red Sea. It is an excellent choice for both beginners and the more experienced diver. There is some especially exciting diving close to the Saudi border where you will find deep walls only very recently discovered! There is also one of the best wreck dives in the Red Sea here, the 'Cedar Pride' - this is an astonishing dive!! Visibility averages around 35-40m throughout the area. During plankton blooms, usually April/May, this may diminish to 10-15m but to compensate mid summer visibility can extend beyond 50m. All this combined with a people whose warm hospitality will ensure that your stay is a truly memorable one. We have a wealth of experience and knowledge in this area. There are tree routes to Aqaba: Royal Jordanian fly daily from London Heathrow, via Amman or there are a charter flights direct to Eilat in Israel - Aqabas neighbouring resort, from Gawtick or there is a direct charter flight in the winter every Tuesday from gatwcik As with most holiday destinations, using a charter flight will give you the best prices but can only offer 7 or 14 night duration.

Itinerary

Royal Diving Club
It is an excellent training facility in a perfect situation at the water's edge with a home reef area on its threshold! The Royal Diving Centre is a purpose built complex with a private jetty, compressor room, equipment storage, lecture rooms, café, and large swimming pool with sunbathing area. If yo are not staying at the Coral Bay Hotel you will be collected from your hotel each morning by the dive centre transport.
