Ilha do Gaujiru is a kiters paradise, located 10 min outside of Itarema, just 2 hours North of Fortaleza.
It features a large shallow, flat water lagoon that spans for over 7km making it a great location for beginners as well as professional kiters. The outside sandbar protects and shelters the kiters against large waves and ocean swell. The consistent, 20knot plus side-on wind makes it a great place to play! There are only 4 or 5 small pousadas giving it a small town feel but with an international guest list. Most kiters stay from 1 - 6 weeks, and long term accomodations are available. It is a newly developed area and a hot spot for global kiters.

Beginner - Newbie $75/day
This package is for the beginner Kiter.
Kite lessons - (2 hours of lessons per day/night booked min 5 nights)
You will learn kite theory, safety features of the equipment, kite flying skills, body dragging and even board skills and riding when ready!)
Includes: breakfast. Enjoy a buffet breakfast of fresh fruit, toast, pancakes/waffles and coffee.

Intermediate - Not So Pro - $50/day
So you think you can kite, ok...but now you want to learn to jump, transition, and trick ride!
Kite lessons - (2 hours of lesson per day/night booked)
Breakfast. Enjoy a buffet breakfast of fresh fruit, toast, pancakes/waffles and coffee.

Add the meals package to any of the above to complete your all-inclusive package.

Meals only - $25/day
For the hungry hungry Kiter that does nothing but kite all day long!
Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Enjoy a buffet breakfast of fresh fruit, toast, pancakes/waffles and coffee.
Lunch will be a local Brazilian meal made with chicken/beef and vegetables.
Dinner is Internationally themed and you can expect a culinary delight prepared especially for you.
Examples:
Monday night is Italian - pasta and meat balls, w/ garlic bread and salad.
Tuesday night is German - Spiced Bratworst and a giant Beer!
Wednesday is Brazilian - a local favorite, Churasco with lime and seasonings.
Thursday is Canadian - Huge Burger, CND cheddar, bacon, and a poutine.
Friday is British - fresh fish with lemon, tartar sauce and taters.

We are located just 1 lines length from the launch area and our Pousada currently offers 3 types of rooms. Our guests will have the choice of:

1) Hostel Room - shared accommodations for 4 people
Be comfortable with 4 beds/hammock and your own washroom and shower.
*Rate: $30 CDN or US or 50R/person/night
Breakfast is included.

2) Garden Room - enjoy your own private patio! (for couples, 1 double bed)
Have the space and comfort that only a Garden room can provide. Sit inside or out and enjoy the company of yourselves!
*Rate: $55CDN or US or $90R/night 2 people, additional person 35R/night
Breakfast is included.

3) Kiters Room - for kiters travelling together (2 single beds)
The perfect room for Wind Addicts that will be spending most of their time on the beach or on the water.
